This year, Nigeria’s flagship annual agricultural sector convocation, the Feed Nigeria Summit (FNS), will host an assembly of critical stakeholders in the agricultural sector to discuss the way out of the current impacts the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic is having on global economies, including Nigeria’s.
To be hosted as usual by AgroNigeria, the Summit with the theme, Agribusiness: Leading Nigeria’s Recovery, has been scheduled for October 6th-7th, 2020 and will hold at the Ladi Kwali Conference Centre, Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Abuja.
Like its predecessors, the 2020 Summit would take a familiar route: It would take cognisance of current realities impacting the sector, offer a critical surgical knife-dive into emerging complications, and proffer a well-deliberated plan to tackle major impediments stumbling the sector’s growth.
Over the years, the Feed Nigeria Summit has consistently provided an unparalleled platform for stakeholders to track and enhance Nigeria’s race towards self-sufficiency in agricultural production.
The rationale for this was the need to make the programme a catalyst for increased agricultural productivity and larger economic revamp, particularly at a time when Nigeria was coping with economic recession.
This year would be no different, the 2020 FNS Organising Committee has assured.
